Followers, weekly growth, and engagement rate for every connected social account on your iPhone home screen, updated nightly with no manual checking required.
PostHero connects LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and Bluesky under a single credential. Once you paste your pk_ API key into PulseKit, the Account Pulse module can surface five metrics for any connected account: current followers, net follower change over the past seven days, total impressions for the week, average engagement rate, and the engagement count on your top post. Add a widget, pick the account you care about most, and those numbers live on your home screen.
The Total Reach module aggregates across every connected account at once. You get total followers summed across all platforms, combined impressions and engagements for the past seven days, and an average engagement rate that spans your entire connected presence. The Connected Accounts tile confirms nothing is silently missing from the count. For anyone managing three or more platforms, this replaces opening separate apps to piece together the same picture manually.
PostHero syncs analytics once nightly at 00:30 UTC, so widgets show the prior day's data rather than a live feed. That cadence is accurate enough for ambient awareness and weekly decision-making, which is the main use case here. LinkedIn personal profiles need the PostHero Chrome extension installed on a desktop and at least one linkedin.com visit before metrics populate. API access requires the PostHero API plan at $9 per month or a higher tier; a 403 error on connection means your current plan does not include API access.
Go to your PostHero dashboard → Settings → API and generate an API key. Keys start with 'pk_'. Copy the key and paste it here. Note: API access requires the $9/month API plan (or any higher PostHero plan). Analytics data refreshes once nightly (00:30 UTC) for paid accounts. For LinkedIn personal profiles, install the PostHero Chrome extension and visit linkedin.com once to sync data.
Security
Your PostHero API key is sealed on this device with AES-256-GCM before it ever leaves your iPhone. Only your device holds the unwrap secret, stored in the iOS Keychain. The PulseKit backend wraps that already-encrypted payload again with its STORAGE_SECRET and writes the double-envelope blob to Postgres, so the server never sees your plaintext key at rest. Each fetch request includes a one-time unwrap secret that decrypts the inner envelope only long enough to call PostHero. The key is scoped to this device, can be revoked from PulseKit at any time, and is never written to logs.
Pick the metrics you care about and pin them as widgets.
Followers, reach, and engagement for one connected social account
Aggregate followers, reach, and engagement across all connected accounts
Numbers shown are illustrative — your widgets show your live data.
You post on LinkedIn and X and want to know whether your audience is growing without opening either app. Pin an Account Pulse widget for each account and check follower growth and engagement rate on your lock screen. A flat 7-day delta tells you to post more. A drop in engagement rate tells you last week's content missed before you spend time reviewing it.
You manage multiple brand accounts across platforms and need a fast read on which account needs attention each week. Set up one Account Pulse widget per client account. Impressions and engagement rate tell you at a glance which account is underperforming before you open PostHero's dashboard to investigate.
You care about total brand reach, not individual posts. The Total Reach module gives you one followers number across all connected platforms, plus 7-day impressions, total engagements, and average engagement rate in a single view. Check brand momentum in the morning without logging into any dashboard.
You want to know whether this week's content landed without checking every platform separately. Account Pulse shows Top Post Engagement alongside impressions and engagement rate. If the top post's engagement count is low, you know the week was quiet and can adjust your content plan before the next publishing cycle.
The integration supports all eight platforms you can connect through PostHero: LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and Bluesky. Metrics appear for any account you have already connected in your PostHero dashboard. The Total Reach module aggregates across all of them simultaneously.
PostHero syncs analytics once per night at 00:30 UTC for paid accounts. Widget metrics reflect the prior day's numbers, not a live feed. This makes the integration well-suited for daily check-ins and weekly trend monitoring. PulseKit stores historical snapshots so chart trends accumulate over time.
Yes. API access requires the PostHero API plan at $9 per month or any higher PostHero tier. If you connect your API key and see an access error, your current plan likely does not include API access. Upgrade in your PostHero account settings to enable the integration. The $19 Starter plan also includes API access alongside the full dashboard.
Go to your PostHero dashboard, open Settings, then the API tab. Generate an API key, which will start with pk_. Copy it and paste it into PulseKit when connecting PostHero. The key is tied to your PostHero account and requires an active API-tier subscription to work.
Yes, in two ways. The Account Pulse module lets you add separate home screen widgets for different accounts, each showing metrics for one selected profile. The Total Reach module aggregates followers, impressions, and engagements across every connected account into a single set of numbers, so your combined audience is visible without switching between widgets.
LinkedIn personal profiles require the PostHero Chrome extension installed on a desktop browser and at least one visit to linkedin.com after installation before the first data sync occurs. Metrics show as zero until that sync completes. LinkedIn company pages do not require the extension. If zeros persist after syncing, verify the account is fully connected in your PostHero dashboard.
Top Post Engagement (7d) shows the combined engagement count on your best-performing post from the past seven days. The signals included vary by platform: on X it sums likes, replies, retweets, and bookmarks; on Instagram it sums likes, replies, saves, and shares; on Threads it sums likes, replies, reposts, and quotes. The result is a single number indicating whether any post broke through that week.
